Obviously, my aim is to get you to visit this site, like the music, buy it and provide me with the opportunity to do music full time, for a living, like a proper pop star.
I've been in and seen hundreds of unsigned bands, and I would say a fair proportion would have become successful if they had been given the chance. However, record companies, in their infinite wisdom, don't give chances.
In a world where Oasis are hailed as music's saviours, it doesn't take a genius to work out that standards have slipped and good, talented bands are not getting through. The Internet gives us hope.
The music I love must contain three main ingredients; a good tune, interesting lyrics and a healthy dose of passion. These three qualities, in varying amounts, can get the hair standing up on the back of my neck. I believe what I do contains these three essentials, but it's not what I think that matters. It's what you think…
I just want people to hear the music. If you hate it, at least I know it's been judged by someone who doesn't think only in terms of marketing possibilities! I am a music fan and I would love to hear your opinions, suggestions and comments etc. If you think the music industry is short-changing genuine music fans, let's try to sort it out. That is why this site will include links to other unsigned band's sites.
I have lots of plans for this site. My aim is to make it grow steadily, with items to hopefully keep you interested, future ideas include an interview I did with Ozzy Osbourne. I could type it out (or get my girlfriend to do it), but I think an audio version would be better. Watch this space.
My goal is to make this site so brilliant that you keep coming back, even if you think my music is a steaming pile of poo!
